Do you sometimes wonder why you haven’t come across a certain author in those xxx years of your life?
How it is possibly possible?
Jeanette Winterson is such an author for me. This book is witty, heartbreaking, intelligent and utterly engaging.

Created in 2011, the side-project Oaraï Typhoon is the encounter of two independent music lovers who enjoy unplugging the electric guitars of their punk-rock bands. It’s a spontaneous friendship, an unpretentious journey with no definite destination. After a couple months spent wandering on un-beaten tracks, Oaraï Typhoon records its first demo and starts appearing in various venues of the Loire Valley. One year later, they record their first EP “A Little Like Eclipses” in an attic and are now more than ready to share it with the rest of the world. Oaraï Typhoon is for the roving minds, for those who are on the lookout for something, those who like to take an unexpected turn to understand or just to escape… Under the rain.ï-Typhoon/323220337690586

Dear Deutsch Britische Gesellschaft Dresden Members & Friends,

For our March Open Meeting we invite you to join us for a Welsh Evening!
At the beginning of March each year, Wales celebrates its patron saint, St. David – and we want to take this opportunity to learn something about Welsh history, music – and about the language, of course!
So come along, bring your friends, enjoy a good homemade “Cawl cymreig” (Lamb Stew), or some Welshcakes – and learn how to pronounce Europe’s longest place name, Llanfairpwllgwyngyll!

Entry is free.
Drinks and a selection of Welsh foods will be available for purchase.

Please let us know via Facebook or e-mail (to Anna: agramatte(at) whether you will be coming along! Thank you!
